The American University of Libya was established in 2013, with a partnership contract between the International University of Leadership, Florida and our university (AULY). Thus, we became accredited for Bachelor and Master Programmes in Business Administration.
AULY started its academic programmes, and it is worthy to mention that we are the pioneers among the other Libyan universities in having an international accreditation, with high educational standards and the latest teaching methods.
Despite the obstacles faced by the university due to the political and economic issues that our country is going through, AULY sought to maintain its standards and the continuity of its work.
Thereafter, AULY started developing its programmes in response to the requests of our visitors and students, and opened an English language department to teach English courses, as well as Computer and Leadership training programmes.
Last but not least, AULY got the Licence to Practice from the Ministry of Education which encouraged the University to pursue the Aljawda Seal of Approval in Libya in order to become a LOCALLY ACCREDITED Educational Institution, which will be regarded as another achievement for the university.
