About the Laboratory
Work involves the analysis of Egyptian exports of food, fresh or processed. All laboratory services are to contribute in reducing food contamination and increasing food quality.

Work also involves the analysis of certain imported food and agricultural crops, of animal and vegetal origin, in Egypt. It prevents the import of food not complying with Egyptian and international food standards.

The laboratory is running many analysis activities that are internationally approved using the latest equipment, including analysis of pesticide residues, microbial analysis, dioxin, aflatoxin, colorful dyes, and drugs among others.
