ChiroSorghum Research and Training Center is arecentlyestablished federal research center in eastern part of Ethiopia,in Chiro town from where the Center name is derived from. The Center commenced its research and training activities on May 2014 with an ultimate aspiration to become a center of excellence mainly for sorghum research and training. By playing a leading role in sorghum research and training, the Center envisionsbringing about market-led sorghum production system through the promotion of improved sorghum technologies and husbandry practicesin the commodity growing areas of the country.
