This faculty was established in 1999 with the important role of qualifying graduates to tackle important issues of food security, such as agricultural products, fodders, animal nutrition and fishing.  Fish is becoming a very important source of protein and, as the Faculty is within reach of Jabel Awlia Dam (a huge water reservoir rich in Nilotic fish), it will be a pioneer institution in this field. The faculty offers a 5-year honours Bachelors degree in a variety of specializations within the field of agriculture.
