Missions
The GICA ensures the following missions:
- To ensure the link between the different phases through which products pass through value chains, to help producers to integrate and to encourage producers, processors and traders of agricultural products to work through production contracts.
-Facilitating dialogue between professionals and the administration to stop the objectives of the various sectors.
 -Contribute the market equilibrium by using different mechanisms adequate and in collaboration and coordination with professional and administrative agencies.
 -Participate to export promotion in collaboration and coordination with professional and administrative agencies.
 -Collect, analyze and archive information, set up databases relating to the sectors that are the subject of its intervention, and carry out studies on the realities and prospects of these sectors at national and international level.
-Placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and SMEs, it federates professionals in the fruit, vegetable and fish processing industries.
