Missions
INSTN-Madagascar has a triple mission:

• Training  : provide specific courses in nuclear science and technology at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level.
• Research  : to coordinate and harmonize all national or international research programs requiring the peaceful use of nuclear science and technology, and to participate in their elaboration and execution. Currently, this activity is integrating more and more nanotechnology.
• Production  : putting its know-how and the techniques in its possession at the service of the public and economic operators for the economic development of the country

 
Vision
To be a National Reference Institute in the field of peaceful nuclear applications and its annexes.
To be the leader in the field of nuclear science and technology, as well as nanotechnology, at national and regional level, on the one hand, and to strengthen its international credibility on the other.
