At the beginning of the 1990s, the diversification towards Transformed Agricultural Products took place with a strong social vocation. Lecofruitconnects thousands of farmers in the highlands
Malagasy and international markets, thus creating a solid base of rural employment and development of Malagasy know-how in vegetables. Today Lecofruit has become one of the world's leading producers of extra-fine green beans in the world with both conventional and organic (AB Label) productions.
Recently, in partnership with the French company Nutriset, the group launched Tanjaka Food , a production unit for the treatment and prevention of malnutrition.
