The Ministry's mission is to promote and facilitate agricultural productivity so as to ensure food security, increased incomes and creation of employment opportunities through the sustainable management and utilization of natural resources, adaptive research and effective extension delivery system, promotion of value-addition and agribusiness and irrigation development.
