The Botswana National Veterinary Laboratory (BNVL) is a specialised division of the Department of  Veterinary Services which performs laboratory animal disease diagnostics to allow for proper management of animals  and disease prevention. The laboratory also certifies products of animal origin such as milk and dairy products, meat and meat products fitness for human consumption
