The Catholic University of West Africa ( UCAO ) is a decentralized university made up of eight university units located in seven countries of the West African subregion.
The University Unit in Abidjan ( UUA ) has three faculties and three institutes.
The Faculty of Civil Law provides training in research and excellence in the legal sciences. It is composed of several specializations such as: Economic and Business Law, Taxation and Business Law, Information and Communication Technologies Law, Humanitarian Law and so on. Graduates can easily perform the duties of corporate lawyer, legal counsel in banks, insurance and business firms etc; or to present the competitions of the Public Service (magistracy, ENA, ENS ...).
The Faculty of Philosophy responds to the concern to make students acquire a solid philosophical formation university for their own government or for the teaching of this discipline with the required diplomas.
The Faculty of Theology aims to promote theological research, in order to embody and deepen the evangelical message on African soil. The specializations proposed are: the Bible, Dogmatics, Morality, Spirituality, Pastoral and Catechesis, for any lay person, priest, religious or religious.
The Institute of Economics and Management's mission is to train young economists and managers who are internationally competitive but also relevant and effective in the current context of the African continent and its countries. It offers specializations in Banking and Insurance, Audit and Control, Development Economics, Rural Economy, Economic Policy and Modeling.
The Higher Institute of Communication aims to train men and women in the sectors of print, radio, television, ICT, communication of organizations, media education and research. information and communication. Graduates are versatile, creative and ethical values.
The Superior Institute of Canon Law responds to the need of the bishops to make available to the faithful of Christ a center of study and deepening of the legislative provisions of the Church, with the aim of making students of the Masters of Sciences Juridico -canoniques open to the various questions of contemporary societies.
