The University of Algiers 2 Aboulkacem Saadallah was established by Executive Decree No. 09- 340 of 3 Dhu al-Qa'da corresponding to 22 October 2009. It was renamed from the University of Bouzareah to the University of Algiers 2 by Executive Decree No. 10-184 of 2 Sha'ban in 1431 corresponding to 14 July 2010, and was renamed as Prof. Dr. Abulgasim
