In a world where the best shared belief is the strategic function of education, training and research, Gaston Berger University has made a point of being the center of excellence in innovative educational projects. , in line with development issues in Senegal and Africa. To achieve this ambition, it bases its action on three strategic axes:
- the diversification and professionalisation of its training offer in line with the generalization of the adoption of the LMD system by all the RFUs and the offer of distance education;
- the creation of a high-level research platform, with high-potential players to stimulate a new vision of research with a view to proposing theoretical options that are relevant to decision-makers and to carry out local, national and international expertise;

By adopting an appropriate Strategic Plan by the whole community, and following the major axes of the Performance Contract that it has signed with the State of Senegal, it gives itself some of the resources of this ambition.
A multidisciplinary and human-sized university, its ambition is to mobilize all its members to help achieve these strategic goals and develop a fundraising policy to capture additional resources. As such, it must be a place of fulfillment for all its members. Our qualified and dedicated staff makes significant sacrifices every day to enable our institution to meet the challenges of its mission and thereby enhance its performance.
