Established in 1994, University of Zalingei is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Zalingei (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Central Darfur. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sudan, University of Zalingei is a coeducational higher education institution.
