Note that the year 2013 is a new turning point in the life of ISEM, since it saw the adoption of the new decree reorganizing the ISEM. It is the Decree n ° 2-12-623 of 8 chaabane 1434 (June 17, 2013).

This decree, which broadened the missions of ISEM, made the institute a non-university higher education institution.

The decree also stipulates that the ISEM is reorganized in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 01-00 on the organization of higher education while broadening the scope of training to the ISEM including maritime, port, logistics and related activities. He introduced the LMD system (Bachelor, Master, PhD).
