Dalanj University was established in 1994 according to the presidential decree number
(67) that intended to establish states’ universities in Sudan. The states’ universities stay
within the policy of higher education revolution, which seeks to provide education opportunities
to large number of the Sudanese students from diverse age and ethnic groups
as well as geographical areas. Dalanj University comprises the followings academic and
professional faculties/colleges and centers:
- Faculty of Medicine
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Community Development
- Education College
- Teachers’ College
- Faculty of Science
- Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology
- Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science
- Faculty of Economic and Administrative Science
- Community College
- Graduate College
