ISP-MUHANGI has a triple purpose: teaching, research and responses to society's needs.
The basic mission of ISP-MUHANGI is the training of qualified senior secondary school managers and the training of competent, experienced educators for Congolese youth; mission that helps to curb the under-qualification characterizing the Congolese education system; and to be the cement of all levels of education: primary, secondary, higher. These trainees, in turn, must promote sound basic education and training in North Kivu province in particular, and in the DRC and in Africa in general.
