Gilles Quentin KANE is assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Yaoundé II (Cameroon) and a World bank consultant. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics (2018) under the Collaborative PhD Programme of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC). Gilles have over 7 years of experience research and consulting for well-renowned organization such as World Bank, Global Development Network (GDN), SNV-Netherlands development organization. He has been visiting PhD fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). His research interest includes but not limited to food policy, agricultural market, agricultural value chain, rural development, food and nutrition security, poverty and welfare, gender analysis, impact evaluation. His research has been published in international journal such as: Review of Development Economics; Economics Bulletin and Poverty and Public Policy.
